4-20-21 THOUGHTS

Note the ACTION WORDS below.  Shout, Serve, Come, Know, Enter, Give Thanks, Bless!    Then feast on the words around those action words.  They bring us into the presence of the eternal loving kindness of our God!  We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.  Joy and thanksgiving and praise are right for us.  
Ps 100:1-5   Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth. 2  Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before Him with joyful singing. 3  Know that the LORD Himself is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. 4  Enter His gates with thanksgiving And His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name. 5  For the LORD is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting And His faithfulness to all generations.
Read Psalm 118 & 136.   Note the phrase “For His lovingkindness is everlasting”.

Ps 95:1-2   O come, let us sing for joy to the LORD, Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation.  2  Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.
Ps 46:10   "Cease [striving] and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."
1John 5:20  And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
Isa 35:10   And the ransomed of the LORD will return And come with joyful shouting to Zion, With everlasting joy upon their heads. They will find gladness and joy, And sorrow and sighing will flee away.
Col 3:16-17   Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.  17  Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.
Ps 85:10    Lovingkindness and truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

My Prayer:
O God of all, we joyfully lift up your great name.  Help us to know your presence and cease our striving.  Thank you that Jesus has come and given us understanding.  .May the word of Christ dwell richly within us and may we share that rich word in fellowship with each other continually. In the precious name of our Lord,        Amen.
